Nico Sleator is a composer, producer and pianist based in New York City. Recently he has been scoring commercials for brands like McDonald's and Hornbach with Machine Sound, and some of his work has earned grants and accolades like the Creative Entrepreneur Grant from Pittsburgh Partners in the Arts and Best Sound and Musical Score at the Atlanta Fringe festival.

Before his scoring career, Nico toured extensively across the United States and Canada opening for Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson with Palaye Royale, and has become the Musical Director for the Ultimate Queen Celebration.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Nico has been studying classical piano since the age of 7, and has been named a Steinway young artist at the age of 13. He then began to study jazz and taught himself music production, inspired by artists like Bill Evans and Skrillex. He graduated from The New School for Jazz with a BFA for Jazz Piano Performance, and works as a composer, performer, and teacher in New York City.
